Momenteel wordt er naar onze mening te weinig gedaan aan het leggen van een degelijke basis op het gebied van krachttraining, terwijl dat juist belangrijk is voor deze doelgroep. In deze levensfase beginnen veel leerlingen met trainen en wanneer er niet verantwoord wordt getraind kunnen zij hier op langere termijn last van krijgen. Daarom laten wij leerlingen kennis maken met krachttrainen. Wij laten leerlingen inzien dat dit geen re\u00eble verwachting is. Wij richten ons op wat een haalbaar doel voor hen zou kunnen zijn. Tijdens de (online) lessen heb ik een beweegprobleem geconstateerd bij middelbare scholieren op het gebied van fitness. De bewegingsuitvoering van oefeningen is onvoldoende en daarnaast merk ik regelmatig dat het schort aan kennis over fitness bij de leerlingen. Voor Lichamelijke Opvoeding is dat specifiek de leerlingen klaar maken voor deelname aan de beweegcultuur<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">De beweegcultuur is continu in ontwikkeling. Binnen de huidige beweegcultuur is fitness het afgelopen jaar uitgegroeid tot de grootste speler. 25 % van de Nederlanders vanaf 12 jaar doet aan fitness<sup>2<\/sup>. Hiermee is fitness met afstand de meest beoefende sport in Nederland. De afgelopen twintig jaar is er een stijgende trend zichtbaar van het aantal mensen dat fitness is gaan doen. De verwachting is dat deze trend zich de komende twintig jaar voort zal zetten<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Krachttraining is gezond voor jongeren en zelfs voor kinderen. Op jonge leeftijd zorgt het ervoor dat kinderen sterker worden. In de puberteit neemt daarnaast ook de spiermassa toe. Bovendien heeft krachttraining onder jongeren een positief effect op de gezondheid, motorische vaardigheden, psychosociale welzijn en het voorkomen van blessures<sup>4<\/sup>. Essentieel hierbij is goede begeleiding en de juiste informatie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">17 % van alle blessures ontstaat tijdens fitness<sup>5<\/sup>. Veelvoorkomende blessures bij fitness zijn blessures aan de schouder (26%), de knie (20%) en de rug of ruggenwervels (17%).
